Terms of service
The agreement between you and Fully Coded Solutions Limited when you use StateMentor. Plain English where possible; ask us if anything is unclear.
1. What StateMentor is, and what it isn't
StateMentor is a training simulation for practising statement writing in fictional scenarios. It is not an operational policing system and not an evidential system. Nothing written on the platform is a real statement, and the platform must never be used for live case work of any kind.
2. Accounts and organisations
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for what happens under your account. Organisation accounts are licensed by seats per role; the organisation's supervisor manages membership, and deactivating a member frees their seat while preserving their training history. Trainer and supervisor areas require two-step verification.
3. Acceptable use
Use of StateMentor is subject to our acceptable use policy, most importantly the rule that no real operational information, live case detail or real personal data is ever entered into the platform. We may suspend accounts or organisations that break it.
4. AI marking and feedback
Marking and coaching are generated by AI against published rule sets and are assistive, not authoritative. In organisations, trainers review draft marking and decide what is released. Feedback is provided for learning purposes and is not a qualification, an assessment of professional competence, or legal advice.
5. Your content and ours
Practice statements you write belong to you, or to your organisation where your training is managed by one. The platform, its scenarios, rule sets and design remain the property of Fully Coded Solutions Limited or its licensors. Scenario content is provided for use within the platform only.
6. Service, liability and changes
We work to keep StateMentor available and secure but provide it without guarantees of uninterrupted service. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in the twelve months before a claim. We may update these terms and will give organisations reasonable notice of material changes. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
